When a plane does go down, Most have heard or read ATC (Air Traffic Control) report "Radar Contact Lost" or "Lost Radar Contact".
Lost Radar Contact takes a look at recent accidents and there cause. Not all emergencies end in a crash or lost aircraft. ATC is there to help. The following audio is a flight into IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions). The pilot was not IFR Rated and was only allowed to fly in VFR (Visual Flight Rules) . To fly in IMC one must be IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) Rated (AKA) Instrument Rated.
